PKGGI Group Training & Placement Cell

PKG Group has a dedicated Training and Placement Division working under the supervision of training & placement officer and guidance of Director Office. This Division has a facility of the conference room, internet connectivity and interview cabins. The Division has computerized details of students for sending them quick information by email. Besides coordinating training and placement activities, the Division trains students in group discussions, preparation of bio-data and prepare them for facing interviews. The Division also organizes expert lectures for professional development of students. Besides training students for wage employment, lot of stress is also given to promote entrepreneurial skills in the students.

Industrial Vists

1.   Students of ECE, CSE/IT visited HCL-Rudarpur and were acquinted with the functions of the industry and production of computers.
2.   The Students of Chemical Engg. Made a visit to National Fertilizer Limited Panipat and were taken around the Chemical Processing Units.
3.   MBA/BBA Students visited Vardhman Industries, Baddi(HP),Yakult danon, indoasian switch gears. They got firsthand Knowledge about the working       hand processing of industry.
4.   The students witnessed the production, packing, invoicing, dispatched and quality control and other sections in the Unit. It was revoking experience       of the Students.

PKGGI Training Sessions

PKGGI imparts Technical training to its students so as to give them edge over others. Apart from their general university course. Students are provided in house and out house training from entrepreneurs like Softcon India pvt, Ltd, HCL, CMC, BSNL. This increases the employability rate of students & differentiate them from others.
Training and Placement Activities :
The College has deep concern with the following industries for training of students:
1.   BSNL
2.   National Thermal Power Plant, Panipat
3.   Pepsi
4.   Autocad
5.   CMC LTD
6.   NFL Panipat
7.   IOCL Panipat

It is necessary to provide basic knowledge to the students along with conceptual clarity and arranging their visits for Industrial Training in reputed Organizations.
Students fo Second and fourth year have been deputed by the college to visit industrial Units / Industries for undergoing mandatory training during the Summer Vacations.

PKGGI Job Fair

The placement cell is an institutional arrangement in the college whose service is primarily extended to secure full time jobs to the final year students community.

The Placement cell provides availability to participate in Job Fair , job opportunities available in the market through its notice board, emails and brochures. It also extends its services by offering various trainings to the students on personality development and career development skills, etc. The database of the students are managed by the cell which plays a critical role in getting jobs for the alumni.

By organizing Job Fairs PKGGI assists the students in paving a way to their career since 2008.The cell brought various personalities from various major organisations to the campus to talk to young talents on various employment opportunities in its early stages ,recruitment on the campus have been organised with top notch companies vying with each other to tap the potential available in the college.

We are proud to share that almost all major players like Wipro(BPO and Technologies),CTS(BPO and Technologies),TCS BPO,HCL, Tech Mahindra Technologies,Goldman sachs ,Google etc visit our campus for recruitment every year.

For the past couple of years, we have been organizing workshops on professional etiquettes for the prefinal years.

The cell comprises of Placement Officer, Placement-in-charges (Faculty) and Placement representatives (Students) from each department under its umbrella.

It is indeed pleasure for the placement cell to provide placements for PKGGI Group students.
