PRODUCTION & PROPERTIES

Production & Properties of Blended Fuel (Ethanol & Petrol)

Production & Properties of Blended Fuel performed the experiments on a multi-cylinder, 4-stock SI engine using blends of ethanol and gasoline by variation of ignition timing, relative A/F ratio and compression ratio at a constant speed. The effects of various blends on engine torque, specific fuel consumption and emission were experimentally evaluated and it was found that among the four blends, E20 produced the best thermal and mechanical efficiency of 34% and 92.77%, respectively.

  • • Ethanol is good for the environment because it has the low value of CO, CO2, hydrocarbons and oxides of nitrogen emissions.
  • • Ethanol production supports farmers and creates domestic job, which also reduce dependency over foreign oil.

E-SBR PROCESS

E-SBR Process Overview & Striping Column Steam Reduction Calculations

E-SBR is produced by the copolymerization of butadiene with styrene in the approximate proportion of 3:1 by weight. In the emulsion process, producing general purpose grades, the feed stocks are suspended in a large proportion of water in the presence of an initiator or a catalyst and a stabilizer. This can be either a continuous or batch process. Process modifications can produce higher performance polymers. This type of polymerization has always been the most important and cheapest process.
• E- SBR is predominantly used for the production of car and light truck tires and truck tire retread compounds.

PRODUCTION OF LPG

Production of LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) From Natural Gas

LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) describes flammable hydrocarbon gases including propane, butane and mixtures of these gases. LPG is not made or manufactured, it is found naturally in combination with other hydrocarbons. LPG is prepared by refining petroleum or "wet" natural gas, and is almost entirely derived from fossil fuel sources, being manufactured during the refining of petroleum (crude oil), or extracted from petroleum or natural gas streams as they emerge from the ground. It currently provides about 3% of all energy consumed, and burns relatively cleanly with no soot and very few sulfur emissions. As it is a gas, it does not pose ground or water pollution hazards, but it can cause air pollution.
• LPG can serve as fuel for cooking, central heating and to water heating and is a particularly cost-effective and efficient way to heat off-grid homes.

FERMENTATION & WINE MAKING PROCESS

Fermentation technology is a field which involves the use of microorganisms and enzymes

Fermentation technology is a field which involves the use of microorganisms and enzymes for production of compounds which have application in the energy, material, pharmaceutical, chemical and the food industry. Though fermentation processes are used for generations for the requirement for sustainable production of materials and energy is demanding creation and advancement of novel fermentation processes.
• Fermentation technology occurs in the food preparation and processing industry. A variety of bacteria are used in the production of olives, cucumber pickles, and sauerkraut from the raw olives, cucumbers, and cabbage, respectively.
• Fermentation process is used in the treatment of wastewater.

BLUE EYES TECHNOLOGY

Blue eyes technology makes a computer to understand and sense human feelings

Blue eyes technology makes a computer to understand and sense human feelings and behavior and also enables the computer to react according to the sensed emotional levels. The aim of the blue eyes technology is to give human power or abilities to a computer, so that the machine can naturally interact with human beings as we interact with each other.

BOOK DEPOSITORY

The book depository is to provide a medium for the public depository

The book depository is to provide a medium for the public depository to computerize their entire functioning and would contribute as a first step in digitalizing their libraries. As till now in India, public libraries (medium and small scale) had their entire Book depository provides a complete solution for all the library requirements of Medium and Small scale libraries.

FACULTY APPRAISAL SYSTEM

To identify the strengths, weakness of faculty members to place right on right job

A faculty appraisal is an evaluation done on faculty member performance over a specific period of time. It is the equivalent of a report card of faculty member. Anyone who has worked in more than one department, or at more than one organization, can attest to the fact that not all performance appraisal processes are the same.
• To identify the strengths, weakness of faculty members to place right on right job.
• To provide a feedback to faculty members regarding their performance.

4 WHEEL DRIVE

Four-wheel vehicle generally complies with modern use of the terminology

Four-wheel drive, also called 4×4 ("four by four") or 4WD refers to a two-axle vehicle drive train capable of providing torque to all its wheels simultaneously. It may be full-time or on-demand, and is typically linked via a transfer case providing an additional output drive-shaft and, in many instances, additional gear ranges. Very useful model to impart the basis of automobile engineering.
• Four-wheel vehicle generally complies with modern use of the terminology.

AUTOMATIC SCRAP COLLECTING VEHICLE

In this method the metal chip segregation from waste becomes tedious

In machine shops the metal chips are removed along with other waste materials found in the shop floor. In this method the metal chip segregation from waste becomes tedious. Hence a machine that can accomplish the removal of metal chips along will be a better option for the usage of removed chips in metal reprocessing. .

SMART BRAKING SYSTEM

Conventional braking systems use this mechanism

A brake is a tool that enables in deceleration of a moving object; they use friction to convert kinetic energy into heat. Conventional braking systems use this mechanism. Once the brake pads rub against the wheels of the car, excessive heat energy is produced. The heat generated is lost into the air nearly accounting for about 30% of the car's generated power.

• Regenerative braking mechanism reuses the energy created by the braking process and uses this energy to charge the battery for further use.
• Saves a lot of energy Team:
